When you're not here I miss you so
my life feels incomplete
this love we share deeply abides
for we are two halves of one whole.
When you love me here my world spins round
never wanting to let go
yet danger always faces us
and each time I lose control.
Your love it means so much to me
sometimes the words are not enough
I need to feel you close to me
knowing our love is safe and sure.
You touch me and I'm all ablaze
with passionate desire,
but also you're my summer breeze
that whispers throughout my soul.
Forever I will love you
but it hurts so when you're away
I'll sit and wait until time's end
just to have you in my arms.
