So the picture will be your inspiration,
BUT
there is going to be a bit of a twist on this contest.
First, all entries will be ONLY ten lines in length.
You will be building a pyramid.
So in essence, the proper technique of your poem will be read backwards.
Yep! That's right. You are going to write your poem so that it should technically be read from the bottom up.
Obviously, the bottom line is your foundation.... the stronest point of your poem.
Each line up will be slightly shorter, adding to the building blocks of your opening. And eventually culminating in a powerful one word peak to your pyramid.
Think it's easy?
Not!
But to add depth to this, it has to make some kind of sense for those that do come in and read it from the top down!

The poem is beautiful. Not sure that it falls with the picture so much and it doesn't read write from the bottom. Starting the line with as just doesn't seem to work right.
Thank you for entering and good luck.

A perfect pyramid, I am so jealous!!!! A lovely poem, but does not feel it is inspired by the image. At least that is not the feelings I recieve from the image. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful poem.

Passing by and took notice of this lovely pyramid write..The words are your specialty of defining love in ethereal terms, and love being greater than distance or time, and space. Yes, you know it from your heart. A wonderful entry for the contest! Hope you win!
