Juggling

I have surely learned this evening
the art of levitation
In the course of five hours curled
loosely
Over a plastic Dell keyboard

I have learned to hold in my hands
two novels
a mouse,
and fifteen cans of tea

All at once, of course

All while blaspheming
the the name of Carlo Levi

Truly, I am a magician

The humor is subtle and sardonic. I can see you as a student or free lance writer striving to meet a dead line and all the time questioning the value of the effort. The juggling and the blaspheming of Carlo Levi takes on a greater vibrance when one knows who Carlo Levi is. Your piece was intriging enough to force me to Google who he was. Nicely done.

    Peace,
    Tom B.
