Yay; the day is finaly here!
My hero comes to town!
He talks about beating Osama,
and bringing down the terrorists.
He also talks about a lot of other stuff.
that I don't understand.
Like inflation and tax hikes.
Whatever that means; I'm only 10.
I get a free tee-shirt,
and a little baseball cap with a star.
And I also get a paper that says if I join the army
God will love me more!
So I sign up and wait my turn to collect on all my pride,
and hoping someday I get to drive the Freedom Mobile,
and take it for a ride.
Author notes
Aorry the last line kind of rhymed when I didn't mean it to. I MEANT THIS TO BE A MOCKERY! If it's not clear by reading it, I'll just state it here.

Your sarcasm is well placed
A very nice entry and worthy of recognition.... Well done, young poet! (although it pains me that one so young - are you really 10? - actually has to think about this... Shame on us!)
