Once upon a Halloween
in the dark of night,
a guy sneak up from behind
and gave me an awful fright.
This guy was a stranger,
we had never met before,
he was flirting with me,
walked in and shut the door.
I told him to get out,
I didn't know his name,
to him the whole thing
was nothing but a game.
I was feeling nervous
as he refused to leave,
what was happening here
I just couldn't believe.
He said his name was John,
I said, "Please go away,"
I didn't mean to be rude
but I didn't want him to stay.
He tried to grab my arm
and I pushed him down,
with a knife in his hand
he threatened with a frown.
I could see he wasn't happy,
he attacked me with that knife,
I am lucky that I'm still alive
after he tried to take my life.
