Madness within



Lost in darkness
trapped in madness
searching for light within
looking in vain.

Everywhere
destruction
oppression
repression.


Little ones
all innocence
no thoughts for the
morrow.

Look into the abyss
blackness all around
dejection
hopelessness.

This is a revision I did for Prepare for the Light. I felt my previous effort smacked too much of the evangelical .
