Agonizing screams clatter through
her mind,
While broken glass slices her dual
personality,
into thousands of pieces.
Transitions of light invert
her darkest emotion,
contorting her spirit
like velvet ribbons.
Simplicity's touch illuminates
her heart,
and makes her a victim of
refracted love.
