Come on in the water is so energizing
The best way to get your exercising
Chasing mice is child’s play and not my forte
This is how I’d rather spend my every day
Laying by the pool sipping on ice cold milk
Reclining on cushions of satin and silk
Only the best Russian Caviar
This has been the best home by far
Believe it or not I once lived in fear
That each day would be my last one here
Fighting other felines for a single scrap
Then I met Ollie my sugar daddy cat
He’d used up almost all of his nine lives
Had fifteen other short lived wives
I let him bring me too his gracious home
Where I was adopted and no more roamed
I’m sorry to say poor Ollie’s passed away
I’ve taken his place as long as I choose to stay
I don’t know how he could choke on a fish bone
But I couldn’t leave his poor mistress all alone
Though my fur has never been colored black
I’ve often been called the Black Widow Cat
I’ve managed to be adopted many times before
Yet I always leave before I get too bored
The humans that take me in I do not harm
All other pets’ best watch out for my deadly charm
You see I don’t like any type of competition
When I’m in the mood for a new household acquisition
Oh well it’s dinner time and I’ve really got to go
I think their serving salmon crepes with a nice Bordeaux

Wow...what a wicked little pussy cat
Good luck to him I say
Certainly sounds like the charmed life for this feline
Great story told in this poem. Best of luck
