There is a war going on,
a competition with man.
Attention seeking cats and dogs,
they just can't seem to get along.
People have their heads in sand,
not recognizing the real problem.
Cats and dogs are fighting,
there needs to be intervention.
Some animals live in constant fear,
they shiver upon their little paws.
Some fight until pain and death,
all because they want attention,
from us, their dear old friends.
