Sparrow

The sparrow weaves through tangled golden leaves,
Flitting freely 'neath dark and shadowed eaves
Wanton bird, she's free to act on fancies,
Diving in the trees or fields of pansies.

Small and darting, compact, unshakable,
Heart of a lion, ready and able,
Watch her soar through the pale twilight heavens,
Mate at her side, her spirits to leaven.

But then comes rest in her nest lined with thyme,
In the tree near the house, under wind chimes,
Chicks huddling beneath her brown-tawny wings,
Dozing to sweet lullabies that she sings.

Come again, come again, some other day,
When the sparrow wife comes to show the way,
The sparrow wife, the swift one of the skies,
Guiding the dawn so that it may rise.

I'm not sure if the titles right. If you agree, title ideas please?

This is not lame at all--you have created a wonderful tale here, in just a few lines. I read your author's page, and I don't mean to point out your age, except in the way that for your young age, you have displayed much talent in this creation. This is not lame at all--you should be quite proud of it. I think it's just lovely.

Thank you very much for writing this for the contest.

This is really lame. I really need to revise this. Please do not criticize on anything that sounds dumb. I'll get to it.
