Know It All

I approached you excited,
of things I want to say.
You listened uninterested;
it's seems a waste of your day.

I don't know...

You always say you know.

You tell me, "I know,"

and I asked, "You know?"

You answer, "of course!"
like it's you ,who learned it first

You must be really good;

You're just misunderstood.

Author notes

"...they got a little talent, but they got no brain, and it's a shame"

and she still answers, "I know" but still I don't know...it's becoming redundant to add this.

I don't know if I did justice to the prompt...just my take on it.

I'm no brainiac either

    Don't that get on your last nerve, a damn no it all, and it's like you don't have a damn reason to be breathing the same air our something. grr. I don't know what's wrong with some souls, like they're the only one with a heartbeat I guess. Bravo on expressing your inner feelings here sweet one, peace. Oh, and congrates on the Bronze as well.

    Awesome

    Very nice. As I sat down to comment on this one I thought that I would pick a favorite line. I cannot. They are all good. It is sad when you have something to say and the other person couldn't care less if you were there or not, or is more interested in talking about themselves.

    Very well done.

    I know a lot of people with a little talent and no brain, but they had awfully big heads, to hold all the ego. They never had time for anyone but themselves too.

    I know

    One thing I have learned in my life. and that is I do not know. The I know's , I think, are just a way avoiding a topic that one does not wish to reply to. However I do know that this piece is well written poet.

    It's the clarity of your intent that makes this shine - the touch of sarcasm at the end puts it all into perspective.

      Thanks Ken, I actually like rhyming, although when I forced them, rhyming seems to hate me lol.

      This is quite pesonal, I always tease her, when she thinks she knows everything...like there's nothing interesting to tell her. But she still loves me even if I teased her that way...she's my aunt. lol
