Thunder roars,
lightening strikes
the rain floods,
on and on
I'm alone out here
no umbrella,
no hope,
just a cloak
I wrap it tighter,
and pray for a better day,
but no one seems to listen,
for the rain keeps pouring on
I drenched and stiff to bone,
but there's no where to go.
The wind blows wild,
my cloak goes with it.
Rain and tears,
dampen my face.
Someone?
Will you listen?
Then hark that golden voice
I'm embraced by loving arms,
I hear a single voice,
Don't be afraid
Then the rain turns to drizzle,
the howling softens to cooes
the clouds start to part,
I laugh and open my arms
Maybe I'm not alone?
I face toward the sun's rays,
bathed in its golden light
The clouds all turn to wisps
I'm not alone, I say
I'm not alone
