My Favourite season is the fall

Well, you can tell by the temperature and the colours in the trees that fall has definitely arrived.
Some people mark the seasons on their calanders, or on their daytimers, others, hardly take notice that they have survived.
But one of my favourite seasons, is definitely the fall.
Especially after a hot humid summer, when the air is so heavy that you can’t breathe.
Or like this past summer with it’s record amounts of rain, every day it seemed we bathed.
In the fall when I was a young lad, I loved kicking the multicoloured leaves that had fallen on every sidewalk.
I also loved to pile them up, and then Jump head first, just as if they were as tall as a beanstalk.
Another thing that I love about this season, are the wonderful colours of the autumn leaves.
My favourite colour is red, I never knew how many shades of red there were until this wonderful season, and my heart Is always on my sleeve.
So you can see why the fall is my favourite time of the year.
