So much is said and done
I don't know where to start.
Hurting you so needlessly
while knowing you at heart.
Year after year of rhetoric,
nothing more than empty lies.
Since what's done is done
please allow me to apologize.
I promise from this day on
to always respect your needs.
No playing childish games,
planting those doubtful seeds.
You deserve so much more
and everyone sees it but me.
I won't let you down again
if you can accept my apology.
Apology Accepted!
Author notes
Everyone deserves an apology from "squeaky",
that little annoying voice in our heads
that can lead to mental incarceration.

we all have times where we suffer 'foot in mouth' disease in which our words are misinterpretated. Although they can never be erased, apologies asked are often accepted. Happy to see that happened for you

I love this. An apology from the voice in your head. It is very original, I've never read anything like it. The rhyming was amazing too. Great Write.
