First day of the rest of my life

Yearned for such affection
For a love, that exists such on movies and books
I gave you my heart, body, and soul
Waited and waited for you to correspond as i have to you.
To love me as much, and in ways that i did to you.
On my knees i cried for you to stay
days and days you walked right through me
Loved me in your own way..but the poorest way a man can love
The yearning began to tear me inside.
Having such love destroy my hopes and belief
I cursed the word of love
because even though its true, it never lasts
