There is a love deep within me,
a love that will never cease.
Deeper than the deep blue sea
It rest with an inner peace.
Years between does not erase,
memories of the love we had.
Remembering our first embrace
just kids, a mere sweet lad.
I see you sitting in your chair
gazing out at the autumn leaves.
Do you remember anything dear?
Yes, years robbed us like thieves…
Faded memories of yesterday,
as I sit and hold your hand today.

Oh this is a very beautifully penned poem
I mean wow! this has such great flow and beauty through out your poem. I easily envisioned all of this taking place It has such a beautifully carved picture as I could easily imagine two lovers being amrried till their dying breaths out on their porch together swinging in the love seat revisiting old memories the both of them made and wlel they pass away outside within each others arms. any ways nice work and good luck
