The darkness follows me,
Like a giant cloud of black.
Filled with sad and hurt emotions,
Getting ready to attack.
I've thought of ways to fight it,
Just want it to go away.
Sick of crying, sick of trying,
Don't wanna see another day.
I've told myself, many times,
You can do it, just don't give up!
But i'm getting tired of lying,
As the darkness starts to catch up.
Soon that day will be here,
The day it will take over.
Devouring my entire body,
draining me of any colour.
But until that day comes,
I'll try to live my life the best I can!
Keep smiling, keep laughing,
'til the day I can't.
