Defeat

I scatter my fireflies
with broken wings
over cobblestones of flat
yellow marble
and gather the shadows
of bright light
I scatter
my tunes
of soul warming beats
as you touch
my fingertips
close to your lips
Kneel
I pick up dreamy flowers
green leaves
and rainbows
shivering
I brush
past your skin
and smell
and
Vibrate my toes
in the sea of your yearning
joy
I gather in my eyes full of tears
I scribble away again
some poetry
with  spinning dizziness
and

pray for one word

love

but you shrug

I smile
defeated yet again

This made me say "Awww" when I got to the end. I think it flows nicely. There is good imagery and it helps to create a familiar tone.
