Can you really see him, I wonder if you know?
He hides behind the turrett, his name is Mr Snow
With crown of silver gleaming, he's waiting there to play
With anyone who'll join him, this bright yet snowy day.
So find your warmest coat dear and put on your snow shoes
To start a new adventure to chase away the blues
For you'll become a Snow Queen and fly into the air
Where Mr Snow will join you to wipe out your despair.
You'll float so high together, then shimmer to the ground
Where mother nature glistens and snowmen can be found
To ski down iced topped moutains and slide across the sea
Then slip into the castle to find it's time for tea.
Once there you'll drink hot chocolate with cream upon the top
Toast muffins by the fire until your eyelids drop
You'll feel so warm and cosy and life will feel worthwhile
So please don't keep him waiting, it's time for you to smile

A positive outlook on winter
For some people winter is a time of bleakness and depression. They despair at the extra work of shoveling Mr. Snow and fighting their way too and from work through show drifts. But you've pointed out this is a state of mind. If you want to think happy then just look behind the turrett. There he is, Mr Snow! He's wearing fun garments and inviting you to enjoy life with him. That sounds like good advice to me!

Awww, that's so cute! If I had kids that's something that I would read to them in winter, when they are stuck inside for to long and just want to sit in front of the tv. It's so cute! I love it!

Very sweet. Great rhyme scheme -- it flows really well. Loved the last line "it's time for you to smile." All the words and phrases you used seem to fit together like corresponding puzzle pieces. Great write!!

Oh, I so love this!
It reads as if I'm skipping,
along mind's path today.
I feel the cold within me,
and pictures in my mind.
The human Mr Snowman,
brings warmth to my heart.
See what you did?! I've enjoyed this poem of yours.
Frans.
