So concise and powerful! It made me think, though, that re-living our special moments in memory might keep us from LIVING our actual lives today... even if painful. However, I am grateful for the wonderful memories I have, and some are exactly like looking at a picture (only one I usually "capture" as you do, with words.) A wonderful susponse to the prompt.

the greatest memory aid we have is the ability to capture these snapshots of life as it unfolds and to keep them for days when we feel vulnerable or forgotten.

Nice. A poem, a short story about life, a camera photo; how much they can be the same. Great job Sue.
