There had been a storm late in summer.
All of the beauty ripped away.
Memories all taken from out sight.
Like there was nothing pretty for today.
The next spring things still looked do sad.
Then we saw sprigs of green.
Everyone said let it alone
At least it is green.
With in a few day the green had grown.
We just let well enough alone.
They formed many circles around.
Were they going to take over the town?
Finally the colors all came at once.
Colors with a big surprise.
How they grew for all to see.
Babies touched , just to feel.
Then someone said "There are dragons in our town.
Everyone was stopped by surprise.
Silly " They are Snapdragons everyone."
The have put blossoms and color everywhere.

Lovely Poem
Hello dear friend,
I hope the sun is shining away there in Ohio for you.
I so enjoyed reading your lovely and delightful poem this morning. It brought a few smiles and thoughts of spring. I love snap dragons. They come in such beautiful colors. You have a beautiful day. Blessings to you and yours.
Always,
Sandy

You know, I have decided that when I need a pick me up, all I have to do is look through your writing. Most of it has such an innocence and purity to it, that I can't help but smile. Thanks for making my morning just a little more colorful with your words. I can paint the picture in my mind to match your words.
Good luck in the contest
