Memories

When we see our life though child eyes it seems so grand
The world is full of new adventures we have not explored
Deep down we take our home town friends for granted

We did not see deep down the wonder of our life
As the grand world tarnish in our sight
Comfortable home memories dwell in our heart

The real truth is when we go home
So much has changed it seems like we missed so much
For every choice we make leads us down a path

Some shall return others will not
The real truth home is where your heart is
Our heart can be many places

Memories of love shared are so very precious

Beautiful and thoughtful words on the subject of home and its' importance in our lives. We do take much for granted, but we realize later how precious home really was. Thanks for sharing these well thought out sentiments.
