Over the years I have wondered
What became of my dear friend.
Two what great heights did you ascend?
Is a question often pondered.
Did you have children? A small herd?
I remember your wedding day,
So much that I wanted to say.
But I left not saying a word.
Someday I'd like to see you again;
To see how you have fared in life.
As I recover from the strife
I wish just one more talk with my friend.
