Wild Horses

cat and feather became close
her mirror showed the signs

one kiss
one cuddle
one rub the wrong way

some said she was an angel
I knew better

and when she purred for me
I'd listen

but never fall too far

from heaven's gait

and while white horses

we'd rode in on stabilized

we waited and preyed

Oh yeah!! I love this... the slight abstract take almost... the word play is brill... "gait", "preyed" and just the general play of words...

    Super write!!

There is something about the title..."wild horses" that really paints pictures in my mind. Might be my own "wild horse nature", lol. Loved the word play here, especially in the last line. Well done!

    Ahahahahahaha!
This is so amusing, and you got it from the picture?

    "I knew better"
This has to be my favorite line. It's simply put, and too hysterical. Love the line breaks in the entire poem as well.

    I love white horses.
    Ponies. <3
