It was crumbling by note fulls
my love song, tears tethered
while time passed, like monsoon rains
she despised my every being
Years sorrow without her sang anguish
to dismay she called, long hours
time all spoken, how we both felt,
over the same rusty tarnish through life
with years not shared in bliss
we maybe in our sixties
never to late for rose showered love
she mailed me endless I love you's
I sent her heart candy and daunting lingerie
hours we chuckled and then it came to pass
we married in purest of white like love's song
notes dancing in wedding cake's delicate icing.
