He’s my joy and my laughter,
for He brings me the hereafter;
I pray He bring it faster,
but I know I must wait!
There are times I want to cry,
seeing the suffering, how people die,
then I remember what He said and why.
He’s my joy, the reason that I sing;
my elation in the words He brings.
He’s the reason for everything that makes me smile,
my motivation for walking the extra mile
He’s my joy and my laughter,

Amen! He is my Joy and Laughter as well. I know I wish He'd call us Home this moment, but we must wait on His perfect timing. A wonderful smile you have given. Thank you for entering the contest.
