A sweeter sister
I never had.
Although leagues
and leagues
separate us,
she is on my mind
and in my heart.
I call her my sister,
my kin.
For she is there
when I need her.
She offers selflessly
her time, and thoughts,
her strength, and compassion.
These days,
trying and long,
are bearable
through her kindness.
I am beholden
to this beautiful lass
a fae angel,
and a most genuine,
sister
