Lines drawn in cupped face of affection tells life's story,
as laughter etches more, echoing on a grass scented breeze,
caught in the wind; rustling autumns chimes,
golden fingers permeated dappled russet and amber leaves.
Blades of lush green cushioned mocha and peach,
as I laid my cheek on the soft pillow of your chest.
Listening to the aria your heart beat for us, lips
of pink velvet honored warm flesh.
Lovers laced in mutual appreciation, languidly daydreamed
every second, minute, hour of the day away,
a solitary moment of tranquility captured permanently
in freeze frame.
Browsing through the photo album of my mind
pausing on the miniature portrait of the past
butterflies fizz around my stomach as though giddy on champagne
thinking of you I'm transported back to that moment in a colourful flash...
Ribbons of cotton candy lacing azure blue, russet, golden amber hues,
laughter, the warmth of your touch, birds singing a song we understood.
I realise how we are still being painted within God's perpetual masterpiece
created with peace and love, His picture says more than any words could.

This is just beautiful, the way you describe the day is just wonderful and the ending is a delight knowing that we are all part of the bigger picture is beautiful thought.
butterflies fizz around my stomach as though giddy on champagne, this line brought a smile to my face, what a wonderful way to describe the feeling of love when we do get that drunk butterfly sensation.
