I refuse to love you anymore.
I won't let you have my heart.
You can't make me hope.
Who needs love?

I'm sick of thinkin' about you.
I know you don't love me too.
I'm done feeling like you're the one,
I'd hurt less if my heart came undone.
May God give me air to breathe,
So maybe I can see -
Past the darkness,
Closing in on me.
Who needs love?

Now tell me why does anybody love?
Do I love you?
I'd like to think I don't.
And maybe I'll end up bein' right.
In the meantime, I'm still thinking about you...
I'm still just wishing that you maybe loved me too -
I'm still just trying not to love you.

Pulled this from my notebook. I wrote it a long while back, but I wasn't sure whether or not to post it. I finally decided to put it here instead of on my main poetry thing...tell me what you think!

My gosh I know what you mean I wish it would go away to, you hit on the dot how I feel. love hurts but we can't help but to fall in love I guess. Amazing touching poem.
