there was a boy
arrived from the South
to the sunny Pacific
He followed the ideals
of the California King
and what do you know
he found her
Her hand was tied
to that of a fool
why was she

condemning herself
to the idle banter
of such an ignorant beast
when she could have
him
A Goddess in chains
coated in fear
saturated in self-destruction
crazed with woe
and yet overflowing
with the purest of love
The boy, our hero
freed her from her chains
cleaned her skin of fear
with tender strength and kisses
and yet the woe
the self-destruction
were sated for only so long
His Goddess lost
her self
his Grace
and his love
driven mad with heartbreak
she bound herself to the stars
to be with him forever
and guide him as long
as he could see
she loved him
Star light, star bright

our love is might
our love is pure
our love is light
and though we may
be far apart
may each star show
