Generally, I've grown
to not ask for
much more
than a simple life
To see, to speak,
to sing, to write
To contribute, meaningfully;
find kindness in humanity
In nature, beauty;
a hand to hold
Warmth in cold;
simple food to eat
Rest, in pockets of peace.
