Thoughts drift back
happier days,
before infection
kissed the waves
Sucking blood
comsuming all,
fractured souls
crumble and fall.
Desolate dreams
are here to stay,
spreading desease
and rotten decay.
Festering slowly
inside desire,
bleeding deep
to conspire.
Eating through
what remains,
leaving behind
fatal stains.
Nothing left
fragments void,
death came, ate,
and he enjoyed.

Wooooee!!! Bless that visiting muse...
Outstanding!!!
Loving the darkness here, you wield it skill & clarity...
And rhyme scheme is tight, the flow wonderful and its rhythm faultless...
Keep up the good work...
Well done!!!
