Mirror, mirror on the wall
Which reflection is most revealing of them all?
As you stand before yourself
How do you judge your overall health?
Do you see the reflection you want to see?
Or something you just pretend to be?
Take a look in the mirror
Tell me, does it leave you feeling inferior?
Reflection or refraction?
Do you read happiness or horror in your reaction?
Or maybe, there’s no image at all
As you stare back at the mirror in awe
Reflect on your reflection
As you journey on your road to perfection
Mirror, mirror in the hall
What attracts me to your call?
Why must I stare myself down day to day?
How come I can’t just walk away?
Maybe you hold the answers
To questions that bug me like a cancer
Maybe I should take an honest look at me
And open my eyes to the truths I should see
Mirror, mirror on the wall
As the mirror shatters and falls
Mirror, mirror in the hall
Tell me the truth, tell me it all.

interesting
This poem displays a morbid fascination with a morbid fascination. Does that make sense? You are fascinated by the fact that you are fascinated by the way that you look. Maybe I'm over thinking it? Anyway... Well done! This is a great depiction of the journey to find truth within ourselves. The rhyming was well done, and you were very creative throughout. The questions we ask about ourselves are, for some reason, the hardest to answer. We can't really find the answers in a mirror, no matter how hard we try...

wow
i think this is one of my faves now. Its funny because, its true, everywhere we go, i know EveryONE stops to look at themselves, wether its to fix the make-up or to just have a glance. We all question what we see, the expression in our faces, normally when i look..im wondering.. what is it that other people see. Get me? {:
i love it.. its poems like this, that help me stand my ground, and remind me day and day, why exactly i want to be here. {:
thnx u mista. <3

This really gives food for thought! I found myself asking plenty of questions in my mind as I read. And I wasn't able to answer any of them with a straight yes or no
So this certainly made me think! So delightfully different to most mirror mirror poems, really enjoyed reading
Good luck in your contest bro!
