Catching Radiance

I hate your lies.
They lock me away with no key to clutch.
Their kisses are toxic, and their touches are dust

I can't get the clarity to know of your inner enmity

With me
With him
With her
With them
With all of us

We stand on firm grounds pelted by your twisted words
And you still think your infernos keep us on pained knees
Ha!

We've been rung through the shameful pit,
Have tasted the lonely rains of defeat
When all shelters turned a blinded gaze,
and refused to see our radiance

In the moon's light, when the bronze lips of day have changed
You gather your hunting parties seeking a handsome prize

Still love's pulse beats on forever and makes us better

The drums have come
And when the breath of hatred meets you
Become like water and flow into everything
Until you follow the sound freedom makes
When a human has stared love in the face
And has prayed for a dream to return

We only have each other

Please tell me what you think

Oh My! I wonder why no one has commented on this thought-inducing work of poetry?!

The last stanza frees the reader! There is great liberty in these words. You have an infectiously true work of word art here poet! Excellent!
