Muriel

Missing image

Melancholic performance with a symphony of masquerade audience

Utopian winter blasted passion on stage of wine with seductive glance

Revealing rebelling what’s inside through soft anger and harshly dance

Invading memories in caves of time raging the soul effecting life’s prance

Extreme satisfaction merged with art, white sheets perfumed soapy France

Leaping in darkness spotted with light turning to become my passion & romance                                                      3:30pm

    Hi G.b.d.
This poem demonstrates an interesting understanding of the woman Muriel, but in the end it revealed more about the writer's attitude towards Muriel: "turning to become my passion & romance." I felt sad reading these last few words and questioned the effective use of the title 'Muriel.' For me it is a misnomer!

This poem has wonderful imagery it makes my mind swim with nice immages of romance but with a touch of reminance and maybe sadness. I enjoyed this read and I LOVE ACROSTICS I hope muriel appreciates this poem dedicated to her.

I like this, it has this special feel about it. The first and the last line was the ones I liked best. Got me all melancholic..

Wow, this is nice. I especially like the third line, probably because of the alliteration. The arrangement is also very intriguing.
