Fall Upon The River

As I sit along the river bank
Watching Summer pass away
I see the colors of Fall
In all their  beauty sway

The many beautiful leaves
Of colors gold, rust and red
Dancing in the Sunlight
Soon they will be put to bed

I see the harvest moon
Shining down on Mother Earth
The glimmer in the trees
Looking like the fire in the hearth

Falling leaves upon the stream
Carrying bundles of loved ones true
Softly floating on their way
Home to family, love and you
