Blowing throughout my hair
scents of roses everywhere
leaves spin in the wind
time for Summer's end
old man Winter begins to settle in
for beautiful Spring is his next of kin

Nice job speaking about the seasons and their change. I didn't really see this as a poem strictly about autumn though. Just a thought about the first line ... for some reason I think it might sound better if it said, "Blowing through my hair" rather than throughout ... just a thought. Thank you for entering the contest.

Autumn is one of my favorite seasons. I don't know what the original prompt was but the poem is lovely to read, it has a nice flow to it.
