Tomorrow

What's there left to say?
I'm sorry just won't cut it,
I love you's not enough.

Words can only go so far,
so now I'm begging on my knees.
What comes next?
There's nothing more that I can do,
my words have lost all meaning.

If you could tell me what to do,
I'd do it.
if you told me what to say,
I'd say it.
I'm sorry I don't have the answers,
that there's nothing I can do for you.

We can look to the future,

and live on your hope,

but darlin' I've got no faith,

so don't ask what's behind the smile.

Sorry, but I'm running out of lies.

The desperation here was powerful. Nicely done...with an ending that made me think.

I loved the last line It tied it all together wonderfully.
Though I was a little lost at who was mad at who. Though I might just have to read it over a few more times.
    great write
