♥ My parakeet, Angel:
Angel is such a cutie
Beautiful in every way,
I love to hear her pretty tunes
When I check on her during the day.
She lays eggs, too
Small and pearly white.
There's no chicks in them though,
She's a lone bird and that's all right!
♥ Angel, my hermit crab:
Angel's so adventurous
Big and mighty strong!
Threatening with her big, purple claw
She thinks she's never wrong!
Angel hates taking her baths
But the risk of fleas is much to high.
After I finish brushing her shell,
She's brave and she gets by!
♥ Hermie, my hermit crab:
If you saw Hermie you'd know she's shy
Hiding in her shell.
She's usually sleeping in the Hermie Hut,
Or resting just as well!
Hermie often changes shells
In the night while I'm in bed.
I wake up and see someone knew,
And I think, "It seems now you're red!"
♥ Jasper, my Greyhound puppy:
Jasper runs outside so fast,
And always wants to play!
He begs for treats all the time
And takes naps in the day.
He likes cuddling up with a nice soft pillow,
She's called the lady bug!
Then, I pick Jazzy up,
And give him a great big hug.
♥ Pandy, my kitty
Pandy was put to sleep
On March third of this year.
Sometimes on the bottom bunk
I see him appear.
He was so cute and cuddly,
But tired all the time!
Right before he died I cuddled with him
And said, "You're always mine."
♥ Slinky, my ferret
Slinky is so sweet and snug,
Her nice bright, delightful face.
She has a disease that she loses some fur,
And I love her just the same!
She has to get a surgery,
I'm not sure when, but it's close.
She likes to lick behind my ears,
and smell me with her wet nose!
I hope you enjoyed learning about my family,
That's where these animals are!
I hope you enjoyed coming on the trail,
The trail deep into my heart.

Aw this was so lovely; I remember that I entered that contest by Jeremy too, so I don't know how I didn't comment on this - but what a gorgeous introduction to your family ; you'll be surprised to see that when Jazzy gets older, he'll get lazier ;-)
Hermit crabs sound like interesting pets ... never thought of crabs that way!

Wow what a wonderful poem about all your amazing pets. I so loved your collage too. You must stay busy taking care of so many pets. I love animals too but we live in a townhouse and can only now have birds and fish, I miss having a dog maybe oneday we will buy a house and have as many pets as I would like to have.
