Coloured candy flavors
Of a heart one of a kind
shredded of the crimson,
azure skies we find
That from every different point
and every different tip
a mass parade of parodies
come lined up on a ship
Which circles tunnels in the dark
mirroring the lost
The rainbow shell of memories
the fiery and the frost
And hand in hand through hallowed halls
Of Misery's delight
The life brooding inside us
wakes in the passion of the night
Amidst the emerald raindrops
fall the tawny golden suns
that bright the years of yesterdays
and Hour's Will yet done.
From these thousand perfumed lights
of the many yester-years
The shredded hearts of coloured past
come back and form this, dear
Unclouded love we never lost
Where sky and sea collide
The shredded thoughts of lullabies
Where our young hearts reside
No matter how we shape it
No matter how we write
No matter how we draw it
It all turns out alright
From amongst the many scrapings
of the colours of our hearts
The love of past just makes us strong
Forming our life long art.
