Within the Eyes of a Friend

We’ve been friends for years and it came down to this
A smile and tear and we make our  final wish
That day comes when its come to say good-bye
You end it early and I just look away.

I take a step that I might regret
But I know that it’s the right thing to do
You smile, and look down as you watch me walk away
Leaving you best friend is hard but its for the best

We go our separate ways and yet we are connected at the hip
Holding hands until we throw our caps in the air and hug
Now a fight is ending a friendship the stars couldn’t handle
A glare in your eyes that could kill, but under those blue eyes a
sad yet sweet friend is there.

I smile and know in my heart that you can’t forget me.
All the memories and dreams we shared will never fade away.
Time may pass us by and we find someone else who completes us.
All we can do is stand our ground and support each other.

Friends are forever and their memories never die.
That’s you and me.
Shadow and Midnight, live within each other and can never be forgotten.
Thanks for being there for me, cause I know that I couldn’t make it without you

    Lovely write, very interesting words on a peaceful background..I think that some sentences are really more enjoyable then others.. One such line is "Holding hands until we throw our caps in the air and hug
