the Bull is no where in sight.

Congrats on the Bronze Trophy! Love the title! I guess we're the golden goose?
-
Great title, and delightful, relevant interweaving of icons. Love it!

Clever Iconic writting, the imagery is Right-on!
Congrats on the Bronze Trophy.
I beg to differ with your line two...I'm seeing plenty of BULL, and hearing it too...LOL

Very clever
I liked this. It's got a nice overall consistency. It's not as funny as some of the others, though.
Thanks for entering.

Thank you. I was thinking that the last should read "We are the Ostrich" as we all had our head in the sand leading up to this.

I like that ending much better. That's mostly because after 2002 I was steadily ginning out warnings about the deterioration in US demographics, the risk of global currency instability, wartime devaluation of the dollar, high energy prices and recession. It seemed pretty obvious, but almost everyone ignored the obvious signs. The ostrich image is spot on.

Greed killed the golden goose I'm afraid! Nice descriptions infused of the market.

We're the golden goose, and we're about to be thrown in the oven. Orange glaze, anyone?
Clever.

A cute and fun piece...
A cute and fun piece; can't say that I feel sorry for Wall Street and its gang; nicely done. --Joe

yet to hatch, nice haiku

That's certainly what they need right now - a Golden Goose. I think I heard that the price of gold isn't very good right now.
I like your write.
