Autumn falls apart
and tomorrow wages war
with uncertainty

Autumn--we can sense change coming, in the colors of the trees, the temperatures, the winds. Those who prepared and adjusted for change will fret less than those who held out for 'just one more killing' in a speculative housing market. The problems are not just golden parachuters, but the 'average Joes' looking to get "something for nothing" by planning to sell higher than they bought. Outstanding "tomorrow wages war with uncertainty."

I have mixed emotions about this one. None of the candidates are committed to ending the war right away, so the last two lines are false. I liked the first line, though.
Thanks for entering.

Whether tis nobler to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous furtune being wasted to the tune of $700 billion...

I simply love these lines, in the berevity of senyru
(not sure I spelled that right), this echos the call of these times. There is so much here.

so true and touching

Well,if metaphorically "Autumn" means wisdom, it's been sorely missing. And this humongous American taxpayer bailout isn't going to help anyone but the greedy Wall Street perpatrators and corrupt government who has been on the take. Solution? Get the hell out of that lied about preemptive no winners war in Iraq. That would solve the dry up fast. And if anyone merits a bailout,it's the foreclosed upon Americans who've been taken by banking and Wall Street. There's the return flow of our economy. Not a bail out for the crooks who brought us here.As for "uncertain",I'm certain as well as are any thinking Americans. This is a designed downfall of our economy to bring about an uncontested North American Union. When we are in deep depression,no one will be able to object, being at the mercy of breadlines, now will they?Worse than the other depression, no wheat bread grown here!No jobs,120,000 lost in September alone. Been consistant for about 8 years now.Who's going to pay the bills, taxes, bailouts now? And yep! Just like the other stockmarket crash of the 1920's,it's sure to be on my birthday as before. Oct.29th. If that was "black tuesday",this will be the Abyss Wed."

Good play on words. You pack a good message and much feeling in only a few well chosen words.
