overly simplified to the point of it not actually having any profound effect, im usually a strong fan of minamilistic delivery and fante styles

yes soilgers are dying, in iraq & afghanistan, just like they died in somallia, koera, germany, falklans, and most places in the world? what about the million dead in iraq? as estimated by iraq body count? or was that conveyed through

I understand your point quite well, however, as a Senior Citizen, I am concerned about all the military personnel and innocent civilians that are killed in wars that benefit only the munitions makers. You might like to review not only the comment of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, at the top of this page, but also, click on each and every link, which I provided, to illustrate the meaning of this poem.
You see, former President Roosevelt, not only created the Social Security System of America, he was one of the several statesmen, from various countries, that brought World War II to an end, brought America out of the Great Depression, and exposed, for the whole world to see the horrors of the Holocaust of Adolf Hitler.
However, please feel free to continue to comment on my poetry, because I appreciate any and all input from whomever.

It flows really well
Another great write on the plight of those homeless many, so few words, so much pain. If only politicians would just do, and not just say, than we may see a different beast surface from the shadows.

I doubt they have. When they are in front of the cameras, they are filled with anguish amd pain about it all. wonder if they later chuckle. Words are just words, if no action attached.
