Seeds of yesterday sown of wildflowers
germinate around walls of so called comfort.
Dreary concrete surrounds, as caged birds, until touched.
Stones grazed by innocent fingertips,
succumbing warmth , as tales of past patrons, fill naive ears.
Narrative variations of past lives,
fill empty voids and countless hours
with pages of exciting history.
Imaginations alive, executing novels, of legends,
romance and fiction, shining brightly amidst curious minds.

WOW Sis.. this is totally outstanding. Your words have not only captured this pic but you've outdone yourself with this poem. the imagery is profound and vivid. as I read this piece, I felt a bit of sadness through out it. it could be me though but its what I felt when reading this piece of yours.
good luck

If I was not in the state I am currently in, i.e. very tired and almost sleeping at the comp., I would have understood this to a better degree. But again...I am not and do not. What I can say though is this: Wonderful. Beautiful and wow. The words you put together and make lovely sentences dance upon my screen...whoa I must really be tired. Keep on going in the stuff you do. Yay!!!! Yes, I am me.
