Paraphrasology Prayer

Before you're laying down to sleep,
where you wish upon a star,
pray the Lord, your soul to keep,
makes no difference who you are.

Anything your heart desires,
when you awaken from sleep,
all your good dreams wil come true.
Thank the Lord, your soul did keep.

As you wish upon a star,
life through death does not forsake.
Makes no difference where you are,
for the Lord, your soul, will take.

Makes no difference who you are,
pray the Lord, your soul to keep.
When you wish upon your star,
before you're laying down to sleep.

    Excellent

A very fine take off on an old children's prayer. Imagery, rhythm and rhyme are just fine. Thanks for sharing this one.

Clovis, what looked like an impossible challange came so easy as I combined an inspiring Disney song and children's prayer. I'm here to share anytime you want

Pisces, this a was really fun venture into a style I hope to set. By combining a children's prayer with a Disney song on inspiration, the repitiousness of lines take on an individual and combined lesson of both "When You Wish Upon a Star" and "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. Perhaps you have a take along the same lines

Jewel as I read the rough draft to co-workers, I was astounded at their amazement. What seemed impossible at first came so easy to me. How about an effort from you to do the same, and don't forget to send me the link
