I was once part of a large setting of the "Titanic", sailing upon
the vast waters of the sea,
and, on a large plantation in the South Rhett and Scarlett waltzed
through the grand ballroom before me.
I've even been a part of royalty, at Buckingham Palace I seated the
Queen herself to have her every meal.
Gentle hands have caressed my curved, wooden arms, angry fists rubbed
away my leather coat long ago; want to feel?
At last I have come to retire, basking in the sunlight here in this
glorious field of flowers,
just watching her, so beautifully poised upon the saddle, riding the
majestic, black stallion long into the evening hours...

A very imaginative write, full of history and detail. Love the chapter in the chair's life which involved the Titanic. I can just imagine someone using her as a lifejacket!
