The Chair

She is an etiquette object
she stood tall amongst years
passed into a story telling
Of life's beauty and stench,
all passed her woven seat
as time passes,
she has held her structure
through a simple life
into a growth to riches
now,  she awaits her new mystery

This is intruiging I love the line she awaits her new mystery, it made the reader draw their own conclusion to the poem. Best to you in the contest

"she awaits her new mystery." Many stories to be experience and told, if only she could. The chair definitely is a she.

    Nice write.
