SHOOTING stars CRASH (tasting the DESTRUCTION in the raging FIRE)

Eyes cold,
Piercing hollow holes like splintered ice.
Burning malice,
Envious glances find words missing.

Shooting stars crash,
Smashing down, setting the ground alight.
She tastes the destruction in the raging fire.

Flames lick the dreams already dead,
Reincarnating the demons she already though banished.
Parting her lips,
His mouth meets her.

The fire seethes,
Spitting and crackling viciously around them.
Ashes of lost hope fall around them like dust.
Lips locked,
Wrists bathed in brightest crimson,
This is the glamour of suicide.

Jumping from buildings,
Pushing the boundaries of invincible.
Colliding with the icy floor of water.

If perfection is in pain,
Well she sure is faultless.

Breaking down in the beauty lacked,
Dying is a fate in which we all succumb,
So bring it laced with aggression and hatred;
Murderous and dangerous,
Self-abuse turned sour and stale,
Control cuts and they don’t care.
[[suppress]] slashes and slices of flesh missing.

Now is the time to release everything bursting,
Everything tearing the brittle seams.
Now is the time to dry the veins of their corrupted poison.
She blinks.

The fire burns, with sudden new found glory.
Their lips become unattached.
In the fleeting moment, she finds serenity,
Then perishes as well,
He doesn’t care for her burning heart,
But merely for her smouldering skin.
They’re all the same.

He reaches again.
Fingers unwanted, graze her thigh.
She smiles,
Eager for hurt,
Embracing it with arms wide open.
Tonight she will die.

The awaiting doom causes the most tempting chemistry,
Fuelled by only adrenaline.
Enticing touches lure peril.
She draws him closer once more.

{{. . .}}

Who said death wouldn’t kill?
She had died the moment he left,
Yet, despite her best efforts, her heart still beats without a sound.

Now she fills the endless void with misplaced attempts at satisfaction.
Oh boys, how she doesn’t care for you.
She uses you, abuses you,
Then screws you all over again, just for the sake of it.
Yet you keep coming back,
Like she is some addictive ecstasy,
Worth any anguish, just for a few shallow hours.

Dedication to the destruction.
Oh how she has failed life.
Falling from the highest grace,
She shatters.

Screaming in the lust of the blaze.
The oxygen is in short supply.
What a shame.

Her nightly illusion of fulfilment attacks,
She clings to him,
Wanting more she lunges.
Pouncing for her prey.

Lost in expectations, she dies.
And as the world perishes, the fires only increase in bitterness,
Toxic fumes of attraction.
And as his embrace leaves her starving for more,
She clenches his chest.
And throws him from the cliff to the conflagration.

Watch fear and panic murder him alive, mid fall.
She smiles grimly,
And awaits her next victim.

Fucked up?
You wish to hell she is.
She is everything you’ll never be able to fail at.

Wow you have some absolutely beautiful lines in this piece!

"Now she fills the endless void with misplaced attempts at satisfaction.
Oh boys, how she doesn’t care for you.
    She uses you, abuses you,
Then screws you all over again, just for the sake of it.
    Yet you keep coming back,
Like she is some addictive ecstasy,
Worth any anguish, just for a few shallow hours."

    I loved that.

    Thank you for entering!

More heights, more fire, more destruction...
Quite moving, even if you say it's old.
Though...try to write about a different topic.
No, I'm not saying that the repeated themes in your poems are annoying, 'cause they're not...
But that fact that they are all repeated themes is what bothers me.

Perhaps you can look at the same topics, but with a different view. Know what I mean?

Otherwise, great job as usual <333
