I'm no longer throwing myself at walls of spikes
Wondering which will hurt less
Somehow I feel relieved
I know I can love
And be loved in return
And it actually be right
Sitting down tonight
Just talking to you
Getting something off of my chest
I've wanted to say for so long
But couldn't
And I finally did
And there's no more lies
No more hiding from you
Because it no longer matters
And it will never matter again
It feels good to not have to lie anymore
No more lieing...
It's an amazing feeling!

I can agree with
Sandy - this poem keeps one reading to the end. I used to lie as a kid, mostly to keep out of trouble. Then one day I called it a 'day', and faced whatever came my way. I found this to be rewarding, and even till this day, no more lies will leave my lips. Oh, and this poem reads so smoothly. It conveys a picture as if I where there. A
for you - both for the poem and for its message! Frans

Great Poem
I have to agree with the message your poem conveys. One lie leads to another, and when they cease, it is like having the world lift off your shoulders. This kept my interest from beginning to end. Very nice write and a pleasure to read this morning. Take care.
Sandy
